Writers:  Broke Sky was originally written by Scott Philips and John Howard. Buzzard Films LLC., purchased the script in 2001 and hired Frank Patterson to do a rewrite of the story to tailor it to Tom Callaway’s vision.  Frank Patterson is a writer/director with five feature films to his credit.  Frank started his career at age 25 when he wrote his first feature film Demon Warrior, a thriller that was successfully sold and distributed.  He quickly
followed his success with three subsequent feature films all of which received world wide distribution.  Frank’s film career opened the door for him to become one of the most sought after film professors in the
industry.  After teaching for over 8 years at the Florida State University’s Graduate Program, Frank was offered the position of President at the LA Film School, founded by Thom Mount the former head of Universal Studios.  After a couple of years of leading the LA film school Frank was courted and eventually accepted the tenured Associate Dean position at the Chapman U niversity Film School in Orange, California.  In the mean time Frank has written numerous screenplays, including the screenplay to his award winning film ROSES’S, which he also directed.
