WILL WALLACE, BUCKY

Will Wallace is a Texas native, and he graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. His route to acting is a fairly non-traditional one, as he then went to law school at the Mississippi College School of Law, and got a masters degree from the University of the Pacific.

Will then shipped off to Barcelona, Spain, to begin a three year stint as an international attorney. It was a great life-experience for him, but the call of acting, a passion of his, was too strong. After he got back from Spain, he quickly got an agent and went out on auditions, landing a role in Larry McMurtry’s TERMS OF ENDEARMENT sequel THE EVENING STAR.

More roles soon followed, such as episodics like BEVERLY HILLS 90210, BAYWATCH, PENSECOLA, and then Will landed his breakthrough role in the Academy Award-nominated film THE THIN RED LINE. His portrayal of a sensitive soldier won acclaim and good reviews from around the world.

Roles in I AM SAM, THE SURE HAND OF GOD and THE NEW WORLD followed, and Will is particularly proud of his work in BROKE SKY. It marks a culmination of all the training, preparation and love of craft that Will has had for decades.

In addition to being an actor, Will is an accomplished director, having just finished the feature film CAKE, which debuts on the festival circuit in April 2007.
