Since leaving the promised land of Indiana a few years back and getting into the film biz in Hollywood, Eric Miller has done jobs as varied as Producer, Production Executive, Director of Development, Screenwriter, Line Producer, Production Manager, Transportation Coordinator, and Location Manager for numerous independent films. In addition to these pencil-pushing chores, he has also gotten his hands dirty as a video camera operator, grip/electrician, driver, set dresser, craft service person, production assistant, and has swept more floors that he can count.? While some people think this broad experience hints at a personality disorder, Miller likes to think of himself as a Jack-of-all-Trades, if not some sort of low-rent Renaissance Man. All of his experience came in handy on the set of BROKE SKY, where days often found him doing six different jobs and nights found him sleeping on a cot in a barn next to a freezer full of rotting “set dressing”. In his real life away from the blazing Texas sun, Miller has a wonderful wife named Wendy that puts up with him for unknown reasons, two and a half out-of-control dogs, four insane cats, and any number of dead plants. In his spare time he sleeps too much, reads voraciously, writes occasionally, worships his TiVo, listens to talk radio, plays computer games, pesters his friends with 5 am email rants, is mesmerized by infomercials, thinks Kareem Abdul Jabbar was the greatest basketball player of all time, and dreams of being Magnum P.I. Unfortunately, he's really more like Higgins.
